email finds you well and enjoying our the great weather on Sunday! This week
students will continue to work on fractions and mastering our next learning
target:

6.NS.Ai – I can fluently model the
multiplication and division of rational numbers.
By the end of the week, students will understand how to
multiply and divide fractions using two methods, visual models and the
algorithm. This week I will give two days of homework which will be handed out
on Tuesday and Wednesday. Then students
will continue to focus on the following IXL strands:
Fractions and Mixed
Numbers
T.3 Simplify
fractions
V.5 Multiply
fractions - with models
V.6 Multiply
two fractions
V.7 Multiply
fractions: word problems
On Friday, October 24th I will have a substitute
Mr. Dyer and students will be working in the computer lab on their IXL strands.
