Week of 9/22/14 - 9/26/14

Hello fantastic families of Lane Middle School! Hope this email finds you well and enjoying our great weather this weekend! This week in Math we are continuing on our journey of LCM (lowest common multiple) and GCF (greatest common factor). Students will also learn about prime factorization and two different ways to create a “string” of prime factors! This week, we will review a lot of the content we learned last week, to prepare students for their first test this week. I will also provide a study guide for students on Tuesday, so if there are any questions about the concepts learned before our test on Thursday we can discuss as a class or individually. This week’s homework will be practicing IXL Math, reviewing, and completing their study guide, and then their test this week.
